I see you Come around me Now you're driving by This city Is nearing This lighting Is so blinding Just hurry don’t deny I see you running To say Goodbye What is left This is more What is gone I see you Walking down the road I feel This is real What it may What it all shall be Come sundown You feel rundown You want to stay I know what to say Whats missing Is something You are slightly compromising I see you Come around me Now i’m driving by Walking Down the road I see you again What really calms is inside What really drives me now What's left inside Is it me you compromise? Walking Down the road

Acrobatics on a tight rope, one inch off the ground Unlikely luck, the deaf can feel sound Plainly apathetic, because chaos is beautiful Abundant spiritual poverty, monkeys can use tools With the apathetic interest, and my humble arrogant ways, I balance my own insanity, with a casual formality My heart is burning true, Through colourlessly (motley crew) Because everything is lost As the world is criss-crossed For what goes up, must surely fall When it’s mother on the line No one takes her call Too late you've never gone away Too late you're someday, you're not ok I said never enough, you said never enough Never enough Consistently inconsistent, with critical acclaim Explicitly ambiguous, pretend you’re not the same Diminutive giants, diligent in our own sloth Cheerfully cynical, the valid replica For what goes up, must surely fall When it’s mother on the line No one takes her call Too late you've never gone away Too late you're someday, you're not ok I said never enough, you said never enough Said never enough Binging on moderation, are the phonies of truth Abundant spiritual poverty, monkeys can use tools Please proceed with caution, it is dangerously safe And if you’re a deaf listener, something might just penetrate But use circumvention, from point A onto point B For doubting our believers, in divided Unity

Careless 03:17
Here’s the thing we started out real nice But we couldn’t see, cause we couldn't see, cause were blinded, you left me Here’s the thing we started out by friends But by the time of twelve we couldn't be, because we ended Here’s what we tried This thing you did to me You did so carelessly You meant so much to me You broke my heart into three You didn’t even care, couldn’t stop and stare You broke my heart into pieces, And now I’m left to pick up the pieces You did, all these things that were kind of cute I even made you this little tribute But you only looked away You even missed my birthday Here’s the thing we should of only been friends I look around seeing you with all your boyfriends You just laugh at me (Ha ha!), with all your gross acne This thing you did to me You did so carelessly You meant so much to me You broke my heart into three You didn’t even care, couldn’t stop and stare You broke me heart into pieces, And now I’m left to pick up the pieces I probably got what I deserved, or maybe not I just needed you to apologize to me You Fucking Bitch This thing you did to me You did so carelessly You meant so much to me You broke my heart into three You didn’t even care, couldn’t stop and stare You broke me heart into pieces, And now I’m left to pick up the pieces

I know you shake things off I know you’re in too deep So you go acting this way Even without any delay This whole time confronted me Even you are who's distracting I feel as this was fate Like as if you were always were awake How do you see me? Inside I’m bleeding I’m gasping for air Outside I’m slightly So slightly Why did we break apart? I feel that I finally need you And for the last five years I feel that I finally failed you I hope you’re watching down Down on us I’m wondering how you see me I’m mixed up so completely How do you see me? Inside I’m bleeding I’m gasping for air Outside I’m slightly So slightly How do you see me? Inside i'm bleeding I'm gasping for air Outside i'm slightly So slightly How do you see me?

I know you couldn’t see What it meant eventually Been a long year You couldn’t believe Why I couldn’t do this Here I am Take a picture So you can drown yourself to sleep Here I am Take a picture You can keep it longer Here I am Drowned inside You don’t care Then why should I Hold my breath Close my eyes I think I’m lying down All your secrets Here I am Take a picture So you can drown yourself to sleep Here I am Take a picture You can keep it longer Please take her hand Off that ledge I don’t think you know what you’re doing again Please take her hand Off that ledge I don’t think you belong in this photo album Here I am Take a picture So you can drown yourself to sleep Here I am Take a picture You can keep it longer Take a picture

Home 04:48
Far away from nowhere I turn away I can’t remember what to say Follow me to a time where I know a way Just a chance that I can turn it around I want to go home, back again I’m coming home Gently I will wait till the time comes I can’t wait till yesterday was found I was remembering the time when I was young I still see the time when I could still feel it I still want to go home Back again Back to a time I couldn’t describe I’m coming home I had this smile when I was back and true with moments with you Even when I didn’t know what felt close to me and you Back to a time and place that was simpler in time This feeling I hide, deep inside I don’t know why or how it’s gotten to be this way I'm coming home

Cocktail coming from a waitress, in her little sundress she’s so fine and sweet Caught up in a mile, she’s in denial; I’m just standing there in line She’s so fine and sweet, she’s mine to keep, I am coming from the ninth street With the rain falling hard, I turn around and I’m caught off guard By this well radiant and all smile girl. I see her resting her eyes, in this fairytale Hoping that there is more than what we read on I’m just taking my order; she just takes my eyes, Maybe I should of ordered something then a coke and some French fries I’m trying to be all witty; I know I’m amusing She just smiles and waves, I know something’s missing I’m trying to sit here, dreaming of us two, maybe in a few years, even have a few clues Any time of day, any given week, I know that I can be there with my puny physique I see her resting her eyes, in this fairytale Hoping that there is more than what we read on I’m just taking my order; she just takes my eyes, Maybe I should of ordered something then a coke and some french fries I’m trying to be all witty; I know I’m amusing She just smiles and waves, I know something’s missing I know I tried, I wrote out my own number, on that greasy napkin, she crumbled into the garbage Even left her the tax for the tip, I know when I tell my friends, They'll tell me not to eat that bean dip I see her resting her eyes, in this fairytale Hoping that there is more than what we read on I’m just taking my order; she just takes my eyes, Maybe I should of ordered something then a coke and some french fries I’m trying to be all witty; I know I’m amusing She just smiles and waves, I know something is missing

I really need to know About a girl I met that day I really like that feeling
That she left with me I will, I will But today I will come clean (I will) Yesterday was you with me (You with me) Why can’t you remember? Why can’t you discover what we've seen (We have seen)? Yesterday was you with me Yesterday was you with me I really need to know I really need to see why Why are you not next to me? I really miss your skin I really can’t hold within But today I will come clean (I will) Yesterday was you with me (You with me) Why can’t you remember? Why can’t you discover what we've seen I remember that look you gave Mesmerized in just a gaze While the sun just shined on you Just that day you knew I’d be with you (Yesterday) But today I will come clean (I will come clean) Yesterday was you with me (You with me) Why can’t you remember? Yesterday was you and me

Crash 02:55
It’s late on a Friday night, You don’t hesitate He just got paid last night I hope it won't start a fight Walking to the table he’s looking outside Looking through his jacket; they’re nowhere in sight Just throwing things, he can’t find his keys He grabs them off the floor, he's pushing out the door He’s (underage with a fake ID ) Workers at the store don’t take him seriously He just stole forty dollars worth Out on the streets he’s just a mess Falling all over, this is not a test Jumps into the car and turns it on, Speeds out on the highway, with the music on He’s out alone, and no one cares Without a thought, hope he won't get caught He's out alone He’s out of sight He’s swerving, He’s sliding, and brakes Crash into life Like broken shadows Pulls out like a knife Every broken dream We only share Life’s so fragile That you can’t compare Crash into life Crash, crash, crash into life Crash, Crash Into life

Pushed Away 02:39
Down by the bottom it’s a shock that this is real Way back I began this list as this was so surreal I know, I know, I know this is without delay We are, we are, we are just pushed away I can’t, I wont, I know you'll see one day This is, or was, a new pushed away. Pushed away You think you know me but you don’t know yourself You think this is child’s play, and now you’re just yourself I know, I know, I know you’ll see one day This is, or was a new pushed away I can’t, I wont, I know you’ll see one day This is, or was, a new pushed away. Pushed away I can't, I won't, I know you'll see one day This is, or was, a new pushed away. Pushed away Pushed away

I wont break down This had a problem We never solved yet Left with no regret It was black and white Even at first sight It was all mistaken Now we'll end our faith I wont give in again Another sad sin Always taking shit Now we can all begin I wont give in again It’s all so fresh within I won't, I won't give in We never used to say It was all plus delay Now we're always our fate Now we're always too late Animosity Generosity Just a waste of time Now we're end of this I wont give in again Another sad sin Always taking shit Now we can all begin I wont give in again It’s all so fresh within I won't, I won't give in Give in, Give in I won't give in I won't give in No I won't I won't give in We cannot begin We cannot begin We cannot begin Oh no we cannot begin We cannot begin We cannot begin We cannot, we cannot I won't give in again Another sad sin Always taking shit Now we can all begin I won't give in again It's all so fresh within I won't, I won't give in Give in, give in, give in again

One Big TV 04:47
This life I see Is wasting away
, but tomorrow Is what I’m looking for This life I see Is carried away To embrace this Fiction reality These hours I spend Is carried away But what may see You’re always wanting for free It's one big tv Do you need a Masters Degree? What happened to society? I need you to see In what may need an admission fee My views. My choice Never forget the way We’ll watch on a rainy day My life my choice This is how it gets real Refuse the way We escape election day This world has gone Type B What we need My one big tv My views are meant to change Let’s trade security on a stock exchange All this reality in this TV Clueless someone’s with some green tea All these condos and broken cities Walking around with plastic pretties With men in suits that are worth wearing Homeless folk saying “Thanks for sharing” My one big Tv It’s my One big TV Channel 8 at a quarter past ten This is what it is till the end

about

Monkeys can use tools is an album about: Contradiction. Life's journeys. A loss. Emotions. Angst.
Throwing in all these descriptions into a bowl, and out comes "Monkeys can use tools". Not everything is "what you see is what you get". This album will portray that. This is a journey in a path where you can be open to a world where life doesn't have to be black or white.
